The Interior design competition project for Demiroren Group which was run by one of our partners whilst at BM architects is a multi level shopping centre. The project is located on most popular pedestrian street on Istiklal Avenue in Taksim, Istanbul. The concept design was driven by the dynamics, culture and fast growing pace of the Beyoglu district. The challenge was to create a unique retail experience by connecting the vibrance of the street and to transfer it into the upper levels of the project. The bold main atrium space with its light-flooded character is acting as the main vertical feature.
